Back glass is known rarely to break unless being when somebody or something else hit it from behind. But one major cause of rear windshield breakage is on a hot day and the car or truck windows are shut tightly. With vent closed, the superheated air in the car will cause breakage of the window especially if it had flaws. Unlike the windscreen, if a vehicle has a damaged back window, in most cases it will need replacements
